    Dave Burke's Role(s): Project Manager/Scrummaster — Developed initial featureset from product idea; facilitated sprint planning, sprint reviews, testing, and daily scrum meetings; created interaction designs and prototypes, acted as primary contact with product owner.

  • Classified Advertising Platform

    Classified Advertising Platform

    A tool for consumers to research, compose, and place classified ads in The Washington Post. The product includes features to help customers pick the most effective ad classifications and publishing schedules. As customers compose the ad, the product displays a preview and price, updated in real time via AJAX calls to the back-end SAP pricing engine.

    Dave Burke's Role(s): Led user research with vendor (task analysis, mental modeling); contributed to product feature set, managed interaction and visual designers; contracted and managed freelance copywriters; designed and oversaw usability tests; presented research findings to senior management
